We’re proud to announce that Isaac Duarte, a freshman at Lordsburg High School, is the winner of this year’s New Mexico History Day t-shirt design contest! Selected from over 60 student entries, Isaac’s artwork—depicting Camp Lordsburg—reflects this year’s National History Day theme, Rights and Responsibilities in History. His winning design will be featured on t-shirts for students attending the state finals and worn by those advancing to the National Contest in Maryland this June. In recognition of his achievement, Isaac was awarded a cash prize and will be honored with a special certificate during the state finals awards ceremony this April at Central New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Congratulations, Isaac!
