The Columbus Village Library, also known as the Carlos Ogden Memorial Library, is hosting a monthly Death Cafe series. Their second gathering will take place Saturday, September 12.
Death Cafes are informal, open gatherings where community members come together to talk about death and dying; not as a somber topic, but as a natural and human part of life. Led by Maria Constantine, Library Director of the Columbus Village Library, these conversations are relaxed and agenda free. There is no presentation, no curriculum and no right or wrong way to participate or show up. Simply attend and share your thoughts in a warm and welcoming environment.
