Discover College Library Resources at NHD Library Days
NHD Library Days offer students a valuable opportunity to explore and become familiar with college libraries. Participants will receive guided instruction on accessing and using the library’s resources and archives, followed by time to independently browse for sources related to their topics. Join us for an informative and fun day at the library!
This January, we invite you to participate in NHD Library Day in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. For those in the southeastern part of the state, Eastern New Mexico University is also offering to bring library resources to you!
- January 10, 2025 — University of New Mexico, Zimmerman Library, Albuquerque, N.M.
- January 22, 2025 — Main Library and State History Museum, Santa Fe, N.M.
- Eastern New Mexico University Archives and Special Collections Librarian Regina Bouley Sweeten is offering support for teachers and students interested in learning more about the library’s resources. Ms. Bouley Sweeten can provide guided tours of the ENMU library and assist in curating research materials tailored to National History Day topics.
Additionally, she offers a “traveling trunk” of potential NHD sources, which can be delivered to classrooms. To request a tour or a traveling trunk for your class, please email Stephanie Wilson.
To reserve your spot for Library Day at the University of New Mexico, please email Stephanie Wilson. Space is limited— only 20 more spots remain for Library Day at UNM.
