Beginning in 2024 and running through 2025 NMHC will be partnering with 13 organizations by sponsoring projects from our major grant program’s October 2024 application cycle. A total of $179,805.22 is being awarded to organizations based in the Taos, Ramah, Las Cruces, Abiquiú, Santa Fe and Albuquerque metro area. We are excited about how these projects will feature scholars, tradition-bearers, elders, historians and tribal leaders from around the state, various parts of New Mexico including Taos, Ramah, Isleta Pueblo, San Felipe Pueblo, Laguna Pueblo, Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo, Jemez Pueblo, Zia Pueblo, and more.
Instead of a major grant cycle in May, 2025, NMHC now offers a new Quick Grants line available year-round. For more information visit our grant program’s “Getting Started” webpage and check out the information bubble that relates to “choosing a grant line.”
