Follow-up workshop for teachers on creating National History Day projects.  Join us to learn strategies for supporting student participation across project formats, like the ‘mini-exhibit’. This workshop offers a practical lesson plan and will  guide educators in assisting their students in presenting a well-researched historical argument. This workshop is perfect for those who attended our July NHD in NM Teacher Workshop!

This workshop is intended as a follow-up session for those who attended the “NHD in NM Teacher Workshop” in July. Focused on enhancing the classroom experience around History Day projects, this workshop will explore historical argumentation/context and project creation in more depth and provide a  hands-on lesson plan for the ‘mini-exhibit’ format that educators can implement with their students.  Participants will gain a stronger understanding of the components that contribute to a successful and meaningful History Day project.
